Bucky`s in Lopez Island

The owner is extremely rude and racist and does not know how to work in service industry. Had a party of 7 and did not realize there policy is not to split the check of groups over 6. Ask the waitress to do it and she said yes. As she was starting to ask how to separate it, the owner cane over and started to yell at us and got in the face of one of our group. Shouting that she can’t split it and that it is on the menu...she could have said “sorry , it is our policy not to do this.” And we would have been fine. Experience before this was fine. I think the factor that led to her blow up was that our group was mostly people of color and it is sad to see this company racism come through.

Excellent food, excellent service!

We were here last week. They’re taking extra precautions with COVID. The tacos are amazing! The staff are all so friendly & helpful.

The food was ok, though after eating the gally burger at the competition I won't be back.

The owner was rude made up a bunch of rules for the veterans that went in there it's like she don't respect or care for them and was looking for ways to squeeze more money out of them I would not go there again I don't suggest going there again the place is not veteran-friendly it was so bad I got up and walked out

Pretty good experience both times we ate here. The Dungeness crab Caesar salads and the fish tacos were the highlights, for sure. Service is friendly and efficient.

Casual and cozy, a wonderful deck with a view. The food is very good. Have a glass of wine and and watch the sun set, the swallows wing over the field.

Frozen fish? On an island?

Really friendly staff, that's the only reason for two stars. The positives stop there. I don't mind eating sub-par grub if it's reflected in the cost. Unfortunately, the prices made it seem like I would be getting a real treat. I ordered one of the 'Specials' off the board for $17.00. When the food came out it was exceptionally underwhelming; most fast food joints give you better quality for 1/4 the price. I have not been that disappointed in the quality of a meal and its cost in a long, long time.

The view of Fishermen's Bay was So Gorgeous and the Alaskan Cod sandwich and other items off the menu were simply put wonderful. BAM from Portland Oregon

The food is decent and friendly servers, sometimes service can be slow, but otherwise nice family spot, especially on the deck.

A very straightforward menu, and nice Sunday specials featuring fresh seafood. They seated our group of 8 with only a 5 minute wait - awesome! Everyone was very satisfied with their meals.

Stopped in for lunch and had a great experience. The waitress and cook were nice, food was fast and fresh, and the price is comparable to others on the island. Not the best place for veg - the black bean burger is okay - but carnivores will enjoy - the bacon on the burger was especially good, the burger itself was okay.

Crowded, lively and good food the fettuccine alfredo was delicious and the BlackBerry pie is worth crawling naked over broken glass for.

Awesome family run business! Friendly staff, nice patio and amaaaazing fish tacos! Felt safe being there during COVID times.
